If an index of a series starts from negative, it usually means it’s an article of those behind-the-scene works.
As one is writing my own OS, there is no surprise that the OS won’t work normally. So time is spent to debug.
When it comes to Memory Managing, the bug finally came.
For a not quite apparent reason my
malloc() just refuse to give me a memory chunk. It always return
NULL instead of somewhere available. Then I spent like a week in debugging that. But it yielded no fruit.
Honestly I am considering pushing down the project and start over. But that would be too costly for an amateur programmer — I still have homework to do, after all!
Now I am honestly stuck. Hopefully I could figure this out before the end of this year.
